More than 15 years of international DJ stardom, more than 100 international remixes, three artist albums and over 20 successful worldwide singles - TOCADISCO now teams up with Chicago based house legend RON CARROLL! TOCADISCO - this man is on fire! Just in time to this this year's Winter Music Conference in Miami, Tocadisco presents his next single release „DON'T GO"! The vocals were sung by no one else than RON CARROLL! In 1994, Ron Carroll got his first big break when he attended the Winter Music Conference in Miami. Still an unknown outside Chicago, Ron Carroll walked up to Louie Vega, who gave him a chance to write the lyrics to Barbara Tucker's „I Get Lifted". This allowed the opportunity to join Mike Dunn and Byron Stingily, also from the Chicago house scene, in the Deep Soul production company as singer, songwriter and producer. He wrote the lyrics for six tracks in Stingily's album „The Purist" and also wrote and produced the anthem „The Sermon". Since then uncountable productions, singles, mixes and collaborations followed! With „DON'T GO" TOCADISCO created a driving beats and push forward track that will make the world trembling with excitement! Everyone will snap, will freak out, will lose self-control on this! So fire away!

Tocadisco celebrates over 15 years of international DJ stardom. After more than 100 international remixes, two artists albums and 20 successful worldwide singles, his success continues to grow with every gig, every record spun and every high profile remix.

 

There’s no other producer in the current dance scene that’s been able to produce as many wide-ranging, crossover hits as Tocadisco. Be it the much lauded remixes for Steve Aoki, Laidback Luke, Moby, Tiga, Pet Shop Boys or New Order amongst many others, or even the production, writing and execution of music for David Guetta, Kelis’ latest album ‘Fleshtone’, or Fischerspooner’s impressive back catalogue. Toca’s work is far ranging, reaching and tickling the taste buds of DJ’s from across the musical spectrum, even gaining coveted spots on TV adverts broadcast across Europe.

 

Back in 2008, Toca released his first solo album ‘Solo’ and won an MTV Europe Music Award for Best Dance International.

 

Tocadisco’s also a smitten, proud label owner of his imprint TOCA45. His core ethos is simple – to help support, promote and present the newest, freshest sounding club tracks available today. They all contain a mark of crossover potential. His unique, well-tought out and crossover style has once again come to the fray on ever-popular English house label Toolroom Knights, of which he mixed their installment of the successful ‘Toolroom Knights’ compilation with British luminaire Chris Lake in 2010.

 

The Tocacabana Radio Show see’s the big beats and heat of his renowned sound spread across weekly slots on stations around the world. Now confirmed to the schedule are more than 30 territories and stations within the big German's sights! It's represented perfectly within Toca's and his wife Nathizinha - who is also the head of their artist agency: MORUMBI BOOKING - new TOCACABANA event night. A fun fuelled, hot adventure that serves as a perfect remedy to those clubbers lacking summery, tech-drenched beats and bars. Celebrating their one year anniversary of TOCACABANA in 2011 the people enjoying and following the project are continually growing.

 

In 2011 Tocadisco's contract with the german label Superstar Recordings ended. He will now release the majority of his productions on his own label. Exciting times for Mr. Disco!

 

It won’t be long until all corners of the globe are dancing to the sound of Tocacabana.
